Two drugs arrests in North Yorkshire town
A WOMAN and a man have been arrested in Scarborough on drugs charges following a police raid.
North Yorkshire Police said officers from Scarborough and Eastfield's Neighbourhood Policing team entered a property in Friargate yesterday morning (August 1).
A force spokesperson said: "One woman from Scarborough has been arrested for conspiracy to supply a Class A drug and an offence under the Modern Slavery Act linked to exploitation.
"A man from Rotherham was arrested for possession with intent to supply a Class B drug."
A force spokesperson said the property was a key location within its Safer Streets campaign.
